Carnival Destiny casual and elegant dining?

Does anyone know how many casual and elegant nights are on a 4 day cruise? And if you know the order of the day?? Which comes first, second...

Answer :
Usually in short cruises, you only get one elegant night... it will probably be the second or third night. You will receive a daily schedule of activities on the cruise and that will let you know when that night is. Remember, your "job" on a cruise is to have fun, so you could dress up every single night or not... and you could go to the sit down restaurants every night if you want, instead of the buffets.

Answer :
They won't tell you the order until you board the ship. They will give you an itinerary each day, called Carnival Capers, either in the morning or the night before. It will tell you which nights are formal.

On a 4 day cruise, a Carnival cruise will typically have one formal night. For all other nights, the restaurants still do not prefer casual dress, such as shorts, tank tops, etc. Try to look good on the other nights if you plan on dining in the dining rooms, but you do not have to go all out for those nights. On their formal night as well, you do not have to go all out. It is recommended though, meaning you'd stick out if you weren't wearing a dress or something that night.

If you want to stay casual the entire time, you can try the buffets. The restaurants can't not allow you in if you are casual, however you may be frowned upon.

Answer :
I actually just got back from the Carnival Destiny (5-day cruise)...elegant night was the second night for us, and I assume it will be for you too. I think the reason for that is that it's your only full day at sea that isn't a travel day. I'm sure you can imagine what everyone would look like after spending an entire day at the beach and then getting dressed up. Also, if you eat in the buffet, you can dress however you want, but if you're going to dine in the dining room (which I recommend), you should probably just dress nicely--as if you're going to work. No jeans, t-shirts etc. Hope this helped

Answer :
On such a short cruise there won't be more than one elegant night. You'll get a schedule with all the material they send you with your tickets and luggage tags.

Leaving on carnival destiny in 10 days.....any tips? is it safe to travel alone like 1-5 p.m.?

any tips?
ideas?
i am 14 and i am traveling with my family 2 brothers 2 sisters..mom and dad.

Answer :
Well carnivals teen club (whatever its called) should be first stop for you. Other than that make sure to browse carnivals web page for things to do and shore excursions. I dont know what route youll do but Ill bet that you find interesting tours to do.

Ill bet you have your time of the life and dont forget to read the daily "newspaper" thats delivered to your cabin every night. In there youll find whats happening on the boat every day.

I am not sure what you mean with travel alone but many kids go to and from school alone every day so whatever you go Ill bet its relative safe to go if youre just follow basic security rules like dont go to off limit places (signs as "staff only" are there for a reason) and dont follow strangers youll be fine. Johan.

Answer :
Are you talking about traveling in the ports of call or on the ship. if you are talking about the ports then be careful in Jamaica.
If you will be on the ship at that time then it is fine. They ought to have lots of activity for the youth. You are safe on the ship.
